Streak

The CRM that lives in Gmail

About

What is Streak

Streak embeds a full CRM directly inside Gmail, letting users manage pipelines, track email opens, automate tasks, and run mail merges from the same tab they already live in. It's built for founders, account executives, and RevOps teams at SMBs and mid-market companies who want CRM adoption without forcing a context switch to a separate platform. The standout capability is its AI-generated pipeline creator, which builds structured workflow stages from a prompt — useful when a team is starting from scratch or iterating on a new sales motion. Streak also pulls in LinkedIn profile data and enriches contacts with verified emails, reducing the manual work of keeping records current. Where it falls short is depth: teams that need advanced reporting, complex multi-channel sequencing, or enterprise-grade territory management will find Streak's feature set too shallow and will likely outgrow it before hitting 500 seats.

Our verdict

Vanderbuild take

Streak is a Gmail-native CRM that makes the most sense for founders, AEs, and RevOps leads at growth-stage companies who are already Google Workspace shops and want pipeline management without onboarding a separate tool. On the agentic side, this is one of the more interesting plays in the CRM subcategory — native MCP server support means you can wire Streak directly into an AI agent orchestration layer without building a custom wrapper, which is non-trivial for a tool at this price point. At $49 per user per month, it's affordable for small teams, though seat costs add up quickly as you scale past 20 users. The honest limitation is ceiling: Streak's reporting and sequencing depth won't satisfy a mature RevOps function, and teams that need multi-channel outreach cadences or granular attribution will hit the walls fast.
